Our PTA

Our PTA is made up of so many hard-working parents & teachers who pool their talents to provide practical support for our students and school community.

Many (most!) of us work full-time and understand the effort and coordination it takes to go the extra mile. We are so grateful for this community and their willingness to step up and lean in wherever they can to the benefit of our children and their families.

2025-26 PTA Impact:

In the most recent school year we...

Supported student learning and enrichment through:

  • 21 class field trips, 3 in-school field trips, and 1 5th grade graduation trip
  • Providing Cool Culture passes for all students in 3K-3rd grade
  • Facilitating 231 library visits resulting in 2,651 books checked out to students through the Locke Library by our wonderful library volunteers
  • Programs, experiences, and resources that benefited students across every grade

Invested in our teachers, staff, and programs through:

  • 12 teacher mini-grants totaling more than $2,300 in project supplies or equipment to facilitate our teachers' amazing ideas and creativity
  • 2 large classroom supply infusions across all classes
  • A truly spectacular Staff and Teacher Appreciation week and appreciation events throughout the year
  • Purchasing risers for the auditorium, allowing our students to see and be seen during concerts, performances, and graduations

Strengthened our school community through:

  • 18+ community events and family gatherings to connect, engage, and support one another
  • ~163 volunteers who contributed their time and talents
  • Beautifying our school with amazing new yarn art (great job Yarn Stars!)
  • Several partnerships with local organizations and community members

Raised $69,880.11:

  • Through our community's generous donations and participation in fundraising and special events, we are able to help make all of this possible.
  • Our fundraising is to help fund the next school year's events, so we are always fundraising and investing our PTA's funds from a position of strength
  • It's hard to overstate how much this directly benefits our students and teachers through the programs and events this money will support for them in the 2026-27 school year!

Most importantly, we strengthened the connections that make Locke such a special community. Every family that volunteered, attended, donated, shared feedback, or simply showed up helped shape the experience our children had this year.
